This is an example of a patient wearing the electronic instrumentation that we use in our office. Electromyography and craniomandibular scanning indicate how relaxed and comfortable the facial and jaw muscles are when the jaw is in different positions. Using modern equipment such as that illustrated here, we are able to establish an ideal skull-to-jaw alignment. We can employ one of several methods to maintain this alignment and prevent the painful headaches and other symptoms that arise from misalignment.
