Practicing Since 1985, Dr. Reber stays at the forefront of modern dentistry with ongoing course studies, such as advanced training for esthetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute of Dental Studies. He has completed comprehensive postgraduate studies. Dr. Reber serves as a general dental expert for the Dental Board of California.

His love for education extends to teaching others as well. He is licensed by the State of California to teach other dentists and dental staff members the latest dental techniques. Dr. Reber holds a California Community College teaching credential and he has previous taught at all three of the nearby community colleges.

Computer-Assisted Monitoring of Pediatric Dental Patients during Ketamine Sedation. In addition to analyzing data collected during sedation, the feasibility and usefulness of computer monitoring equipment in a private dental setting was also reported. Research and thesis completed as a partial requirement for Master of Science degree in the Department of Oral Biology. Results of the study were presented at a table clinic during the Spring Scientific Session of the California Dental Association (May 1985).

Spectrophotofluorometric Assay of Serotonin Levels in Human Blood and Its Relation to Selected Sperm Variables. Performed blood serotonin assays on infertile patients and correlated these findings to the morphology and motility characteristics of patients sperm.

Research Director: Donald Peterson, Ph. D. "Consumer Behavior." a compilation of research and published works relating to the environment and its affect on the purchasing behavior of consumers. Paper was initially to be published as an entire chapter in a university-level textbook on environmental psychology.

1988-Present Private Dental Practice

Currently work as a partner in this general practice office in Salinas, California. Our emphasis is complex restorative, esthetic and neuromuscular dentistry to restore damaged teeth, enhance smiles and alleviate the headaches and other pain caused by "bite" abnormalities.

1994-Present California Dental Board
Currently serve as a general Dental Expert offering expert dental opinions on cases that involve possible licensure discipline of dentists. Duties include review of patient records, radiographs and models, subsequent organization of findings into written reports, and testifying for the California Dental Board at administrative hearings.

1999-2004 Central Coast Dental Associates
Member, Board of Directors
Serve as a founding member on the Board of Directors of the Central Coast Dental Associates (CCDA), an Independent Practice Association. CCDA is an association of preferred provider dentists, offering network availability to dental insurance companies, insurance brokers and third party administrators. CCDA currently has 325+ members.

1999-2004 Central Coast Dental Associates
Director of Dental Services
Supervise and participate in utilization review of network dentists to ensure appropriateness of care to dental patients. Specific duties include review of insurance claims and associated radiographs or study models submitted to document completed or proposed treatment by dental network members.

1985-88 Ashchaffenburg Dental Clinic
Served as a General Dental Officer in the U.S. Army. Size of clinic allowed wide latitude in treating a vast number of dental problems and pathology.

Dr. Reber received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and received his Doctorate or Dental Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Dr. Reber is dedicated to helping others by volunteering his time & expertise to benefit the people of Salinas.
