Dental Endodontist

What is a Dental Endodontist

A dental endodontist is a dentist that has undergone advanced training to have the ability to treat dental diseases of the tissue, blood vessels, and nerves of the teeth. Dental endodontists are required to do two extra years of training to cover these dental issues. The most common treatment done by a dental endodontist is a "root canal." This is when the nerve tissue inside of a tooth is infected and has to be removed and re-filled to save the tooth. Drs. Hemingway and Reber, while not endodontic specialists, have advanced post-graduate training in dental endodontics.
