Sedation dentistry makes it possible for you to feel completely at ease when we take care of your dental needs. Your comfort and convenience is an essential part of our service goals. To meet this goal, we have been trained and are completely equipped to provide Conscious Sedation Dentistry for any of our patients who may desire it. Sedation dentistry makes it possible to perform a complete smile transformation in less time, to remove anxiety you might have from previous unpleasant treatments, or to just allow a totally relaxing and stress free dental visit.

Your sedation appointment is very simple:

You are given a small pill to take before you arrive at our office in Salinas for your dental appointment. When you arrive at the office, you are given more medication to deepen the relaxation and drowsiness level. No dental work is started until you are completely relaxed and comfortable. Most of our patients "snooze" all the way through the appointment.

During your sedation, you are continuously monitored with advanced medical equipment that monitors your heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels.

At the end of the appointment, you return home and relax the rest of the day. The next day is normal except one thing- you will usually have no memory of the relaxing dental visit that you breezed through the previous day. This safe, conscious sedation method makes it possible for us to perform procedures that previously required many more visits. And with our advanced CEREC technology even crowns can often be completed in just a single visit.
